Art Wood Builders' History
Art Wood Builders, Inc. is a second generation home builder. It was established in 1966 by Arthur Franklin Wood in Forest Hill Maryland. He built over 200 homes in Harford and Baltimore Counties. Brian T. Wood took over ownership of Art Wood Builders, Inc. in 1999. Brian T. Wood has over 17 years experience in the residential construction industry. Brian T. Wood added the home improvement license in 1994 beginning the home improvement division of Art Wood Builders, Inc. Art Wood Builders, Inc. offers custom homes, additions, and general remodeling.
Our Business
Art Wood Builders, Inc. is a residential construction company building in Harford and Baltimore Counties. We will handle all aspects of construction from design, engineering, and permit to finish materials, inspections, and final cleaning. Bring your architect's plans and we will make your well crafted design a reality. If you do not have an architect or plans, we can design and draft your plans. We operate by contract with a set price and specifications. Additional work orders can be made to change the job in process. We have a crew of experienced carpenters and subcontractors to bring your dreams into reality. Art Wood Builders, Inc. is a professional company offering quality and value.
All projects designed by Brian Wood are drawn on computer using Cheif Architect. 3D views are available to clients, so they can see a project with their eyes instead of having to use their imaginations. We take your sketches or ideas and bring them to a logical design with an estimation of cost. The design will be adjusted to your liking and budget before construction begins. Once the design is complete, a contract will be writen with complete construction details, time frame, and payment schedule. Your input will be involved in many areas which includes material selections, electrical layout, and kitchen design.
Concerning remodeling projects, we will make every effort not to disturb your daily life as much as possible. We keep jobsites clean and orderly. Great care is taken to make the new work blend with your existing home.
